Typically winterized versions of silhouettes are noting to write home about but I must admit with these Air Jordan 5s, Jordan Brand may have a hit on their hands.
This Air Jordan 5 is made to stand up to the rigors of winter. They sport an off-noir Gore-Tex upper with clear netting on the lateral and medial sides. The signature reflective tongue is home to a fire red Jumpman, with the same branding present on the rear heel and coloration on the lace locks. “GORETEX appears on the left lower heel, while the right features a “23”.
Underneath resides a black speckled, red toothed black midsole and a aged milky translucent rubber outsole completes this very well executed aesthetic,
The “Off-Noir” Air Jordan 5 Gore tex is planned to release this December: they will carry a 220 USD sticker price. I hope the other releases around this time garner more attention so I will have an easier time picking up a pari of these.
